Doug Hoover has been the Director of Bands at Parkway Central High School in suburban St. Louis, MO, since 1985. Prior to that he was assistant band director at Santa Fe High School (NM). Mr. Hoover is a second generation band director, following in the footsteps of his father. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree from New Mexico State University and a Masters of Music in Conducting from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He has done additional study at Vandercook College of Music. Mr. Hoover is married to Lori. They have two grown children, Amy and Andy.
