I graduated from Central Methodist in 1992 with a BME and also becoming a Sinfonian (Beta Mu chapter) in 1989. I taught K-12 Vocal/ instrumental in Mendon. 5-12 Vocal/instrumental at Clopton R-10 in Clarksville. Then finishing in St. James as 5-12. In 1997, I joined the Marine Corps Bands first as a euphonium instrumentalist, then as an Enlisted Conductor retiring in 2017 as a Gunnery Sergeant having performed in and/or deployed to 27 countries. After retirement, I went back to school at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville graduating with a Master of Music in Conducting , also specializing in Brass Pedagogy and Composition. I have also started a music publishing/studio/clinician/composition business in Warrior Musician LLC. I am happy to report, as of Aug 2019, I’m back in the band classroom at Westview Middle School in the Riverview Gardens School District in St. Louis
