The Board of Directors of MBA is seeking to encourage young band directors in pursuing excellence in the field of instrumental music education. To that end, an annual grant to help defray costs of the MBA Summer Convention will be made to qualified applicants who are MBA members and beginning their first (just graduated), or recently completed their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of teaching. The award will cover convention pre-registration and up to three nights lodging.

Applicants: Electronic application deadline is April 15. Upon review of the applications, the Board of Directors will select the recipients.
